A local-first specification operating system for AI-assisted development.
The problem
When an agent writes code from a prose request, the specification is implicit and therefore unverifiable. Making the specification an artifact — versioned, reviewable, executable — is what makes the resulting code checkable against something.
How it works
- 01Treat the spec as the primary artifact and the code as a derived one.
- 02Keep the whole loop local so specifications and their implementations stay on the machine that owns them.
- 03Gate implementation on an approved specification rather than on a prompt.
