The problem
A system that accumulates state is only trustworthy if you can observe how that state changes. Without observation, accumulation is indistinguishable from drift.
How it works
- 01Instrument the runtime so its internal state can be read without mutating it.
- 02Track change over time rather than presenting a single snapshot.
- 03Treat observation as a first-class output, not a debugging afterthought.
